Milinković of Al Hilal out of action for 3-4 weeks due to knee injury
Sergej Milinković-Savić, a midfielder from Serbia, has sustained a knee injury that will require treatment for three to four weeks, according to Al-Hilal Club.
Milinković-Savić has joined the list of players injured by the club, which also includes Neymar, Musab Al-Juwayr, Salman Al-Faraj, Robin Neves, and Ali Al-Bulayhi, who are suspended.
He injured himself last Friday during Al-Hilal’s local league match against Al-Fateh.
The midfield player will be out of action for four weeks due to an injury that was discovered on Sunday after he underwent radiological testing.
Milinković-Savić will therefore be unable to participate in the forthcoming match against Mumbai City in the AFC Champions League’s fourth round. [1]
He will also miss the forthcoming international break with the Serbian national team.
Milinković-Savić has not played for Al-Hilal in four previous games against Navbahor, Nassaji, Abha, and Al-Ettifaq due to this setback.
He will also be absent from the Saudi league matches against Al-Taawoun on the 10th and Al-Hazem on the 25th, as well as the AFC Champions League match later this month against Navbahor from Uzbekistan.
On December 1, Milinković-Savić is anticipated to return to action in the league against Al-Nassr in the Riyadh Derby.
